"WHO AM I?"
“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream;
not only plan, but also believe.”
-Anatole France
As you enter your final year as a PHS student, many of you are grappling with the questions
“Who Am I?”
“What will I do next year?”
“What do I need to do to get into the college of my choice?”
“What do I need to do to get a job?”
Over the next few weeks, you will have the opportunity to reflect on who you are, who or what helped shape you, who you want to be, and how you will achieve your short term and long term goals.
This week you will create short and long term goals, reflect on who or what has impacted who you are, and write about how you have changed over the last few years. Next week, we will use all the reflection pieces from last week and this week to draft a narrative and/or college application essay. The narrative will include sensory detail, internal dialogue, and proper grammatical conventions. We will wrap up this unit with a mini-bio, 3 minute intro video, and a resume/cover letter/letter of recommendation.
Each piece of this project is a thread that when woven together will provide you with an exquisite tapestry showcasing “Who You Are.”
